Chandler Family Medicine and Preventive Care

Individualized family medicine, centered on prevention and whole-person care.

Meet Dr. Chandler

Dr. Cortney Chandler, DO,  was born and raised in West Virginia. She earned her BS in Biology from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN, and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at The Washington Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program.

After residency, Dr. Chandler spent two years in Honduras with the Samaritan’s Purse Post-Residency Program. She later practiced in the urgent care and primary care settings and served as a Regional Medical Director in both  primary care and geriatric medicine before returning to urgent care in order to spend more time with her family.  She is excited to return to primary care through a direct primary care model.

Her philosophy of care is grounded in osteopathic principles and emphasizes the importance of rest, movement, and nutrition in supporting long-term health. She enjoys helping patients make practical, sustainable lifestyle changes while also providing thoughtful medical care.

She lives in Mount Juliet, TN, with her husband, David. Together they have 5 kids, 2 dogs, 1 cat, a goldfish and few too many house plants.  She enjoys reading, gardening, hiking, and being active in her church community.
